About Library
The Central Library is the knowledge hub of the institution and plays a vital role in supporting academic, research, and learning activities. The library is committed to providing quality information resources, modern facilities, and user-oriented services to students, faculty members, researchers, and staff.

The library maintains a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and digital resources covering various disciplines and subjects relevant to the academic curriculum and research needs of the institution. In addition to printed resources, the library provides access to e-books, e-journals, online databases, and remote access facilities for uninterrupted learning and research support.

The library is automated using an integrated Library Management System (Libsys–LSNeo version) to ensure efficient circulation, cataloguing, acquisition, and user services. Users can access the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for searching library resources conveniently.

The Central Library offers various services such as circulation service, reference service, digital library service, reprographic service, current awareness service, remote access service, plagiarism checking service, and user orientation programs. A peaceful and conducive reading environment is maintained to encourage self-learning, innovation, and academic excellence.

Library Hours: 9.15 AM to 6.30 PM

  • Users’ Hours: 9.15 AM to 6.15 PM
  • Circulation: 9.15 AM to 6.15 PM
  • Reference: 9.30 AM to 5.00 PM
  • Reading Room: 9.15 AM to 6.15 PM
  • Photocopying: 9.30 AM to 4.45 PM
Rules and Regulations
  • Use of the Central Library is strictly reserved for users possessing an authorized ID/Library Card. ID/Library Card is not transferable.
  • Users carry ID/Library Card always and produce on demand by library personnel/security posted at the entrance of the Central Library.
  • Users are requested to punch their ID/Library card before using the library.
  • Users are informed to keep their belongings, like bags, books etc. at the property counter and should take back their items positively before leaving the Central Library.
  • Users should carry valuable items, like mobile, laptop etc. if any, with them.
  • Personal documents & issued documents are not be allowed inside the library.
  • Users are requested to maintain silence in the library for the benefit of other users.
  • Project work/Laboratory works, group discussions, consumption of food or any kind of class meetings are not allowed inside the library.
  • Users are requested to leave books/documents on the table, not to be shelve back those by themselves.
  • “R” marked books will not allowed to students for lending. However, photocopy of relevant pages can be done followed by copy right guidelines.
  • Mutilation of library materials and damage to library materials is serious offence. Users are requested to do not try it, otherwise it may be punishable.
  • Any violation of the Central Library Regulations shall lead to forfeiture of the membership of concerned member.
