Course Overview
MCKV Institute of Engineering offers Four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programme approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in alignment with National Education Policy (NEP), 2020.
The curriculum is structured as:
  • Major courses (Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management)
  • Minor courses (Computer Applications)
  • Interdisciplinary courses (Graphic Design Basics, Accounting, 3D Printing)
  • Ability-Enhancement courses (English and Business Communication, Modern Language and Literature, Indian Constitution and Society, Culture, and Human Behaviour)
Common Value-Added Courses (Yoga/Health and Wellness, Mental Health, Financial Tech, and Leadership Skills).

Eligibility Criteria for Admission
  • Candidates applying for BBA programs should have passed / appeared in higher secondary examination in the general or vocational stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Educations or its equivalent examinations.
  • Candidates applying for PG programs should have passed/appeared in 3 / 4 years Bachelor’s Degree/ Honours / Major or with a minimum of 140 credit point program from a recognised university.

  • PEO-I: To get up-to-date understanding of business concepts and how they are used to solve business problems.
  • PEO-II: To apply various managerial decision-making techniques necessary to resolve intricate administrative issues.
  • PEO-III: To develop future business leaders who can adjust to the demands of both domestic and international business environments.
  • PEO-IV: To develop students who are capable of starting their own businesses on their own.
  • PEO-V: To generate graduates who are prepared for the workforce and who uphold the highest moral standards and environmental consciousness.

  • PSO-I: Marketing Management
    Proficiency in marketing management and multidisciplinary tools, with both traditional and modern frameworks, to analyse, ideate, and execute operational plans in an innovative, moral, and sustainable company setting.
  • PSO-II: Financial Management
    Possessing the business, interpersonal, and leadership abilities necessary to carry out financial operations in the area of financial markets, services, organisations, tools, and personal and corporate finance.
  • PSO-III: Human Resource Management
    Professional skills in human resource management and related fields, including the capacity to execute operational plans, comply with the procedures, and follow evaluation methods that adhere to current legal frameworks at national and international levels.
