Eligibility Criteria for Admission
i. Candidates must have valid WBJEE / JEE (Main) Score.
ii. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics along with anyone Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
iii. Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC, PwD) in all the three subjects taken together.
iv. Candidates must have passed English in “10+2” examination with at least 30% marks.
v. The board of qualifying examination must be recoganised by the Central or State Government.
vi. Both B. Sc. Candidates and Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology will also be eligible for admission to the 1st year Engineering Degree Courses, subject to vacancies in the 1st year classes in case the vacancies as lateral entry at second year are exhausted. However, the admission shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned above.
B.Tech (Lateral) :
i. Candidates must have valid JELET Score.
ii. Diploma holders seeking admission into Engineering & Technology Degree Courses:

a. For B. Sc. Candidates, the upper age limit is 27 (twenty-seven) years as on 31.12.2021.
b. The candidate must pass B. Sc. Degree from any University recognized by UGC atleast 45% (40% for ST/SC/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD) marks.
c. Also, the candidate must have passed 12th standard school examination with Mathematics as a subject.
d. The candidate, if admitted, will have to clear the subjects of Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing of the 1st year Degree Course in Engineering/Technology along with their second-year subjects.
e. B. Sc. candidates will be considered for admission only if vacancies remain even after filling the seats with available Diploma holder candidates.
B.E./ B.Tech. in ECE /AEIE / Control & Instrumentation Engg or M.Sc. In Electronics / Physics (with Electronics special) or the candidate should be an Associate Member of a Professional Body of Engineers that are recognized by the Govt. of India for the purpose of admission to higher studies in Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Computer Sc. related subjects preferred) from a recognized University with a valid score in CAT / GMAT / MAT/ JEMAT / XAT
