Introduction
With a remarkable growth in the field of electrical industry, the global needs for motivated and skilled engineers are increasing day by day. To meet this requirement, MCKV Institute of Engineering introduced the Electrical Engineering Course in the academic year 2010-2011. With a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members, the department has been playing a pioneering role in producing world class Electrical Engineers. Well equipped state of the art laboratories provide adequate opportunities for the students to learn and innovate. with the availability of all the required resources you would be able to extract your full potential and achieve your dreams.

B. Tech
Since inception, the Electrical Department has played an important role for developing the academic standard and the facilities provided to the students. The laboratories are well equipped and highest consideration is provided for safety and hazard of the student operator. Students are always encouraged in extracurricular and co-curricular activities viz. Debate, Group Discussion, Quiz, NSS activities, Technical club activities, Robotics modeling, Seminar etc apart from regular academic activities.
Intake Capacity: 60 [80% students are admitted from WBJEE, 10% from AIEEE, 10% from Management Quota] + 3 students are from TFW Quota
Additional 12 Students are admitted in 3rd Semester through JELET.
